Learning Programmes

St Ultan’s offers both Level 1 and Level 2 Learning programmes in our Senior School within the following structure:

Junior Cycle L1LP and/or L2LP – Senior 1 – 3

Senior Cycle L1LP and/or L2LP – Senior 4 – 6

The Level 1 and Level 2 Learning Programmes have been designed to make the traditional Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate more accessible for students with a diagnosis of mild general learning disability. Programmes are delivered by both our specialist and classroom teachers.

The Junior Cycle Learning Programmes are made up of Priority Learning Units and Short Courses.

The Senior Cycle Learning Programmes are made up of three core curriculam subjects as well as a number of electives which can be selected based on the interests of the students.
