Education
At St Ultan’s, pupils in the Junior School (Class 1 – Class 6) follow the Primary School Curriculum which includes the following range of subject areas:
- Communication and Literacy
- Numeracy
- SPHE – Social, Personal and Health Education
- SESE – Social, Environmental and Scientific Education – History
- Visual Arts
- Music
- Drama
- Physical Education
- Religious Education
All aspects of the curriculum are differentiated according to the needs and abilities of all pupils. An emphasis throughout the curriculum is placed on the enhancement of language and communication, functional literacy and numeracy and the necessary life skills to promote independent living.
Pupils in our Senior School follow Post-Primary Programmes of learning appropriate to their strengths and abilities.
